According to a new Report from French research institutes ARMINES/ERIE, commissioned by EPEE, Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions from refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment have decreased since 1990 and are set to decrease even further in the coming 20 years.

UK ACRIB, representing key trade and professional institutes, has prepared a draft response to the EU Commission’s Consultation on the F-Gas Regulation Review, to highlight the most effective policy measures based effectiveness in the UK to date.  Before a final answer is delivered to the Commission ACRIB would appreciate comments from the wider industry.

Fluorocarbons producers have warned customers to only purchase refrigerants from authorized suppliers, to prevent them from introducing counterfeit refrigerants containing toxic and flammable substances into their systems.
